How It Works

Finctual finds public market calls, checks what happened next, and shows why every score landed where it did.

1. We Read The Account

  1. You submit a public account or one video link.
  2. We isolate clear calls and pull out the asset, direction, target, and time frame.
  3. Then we grab the market prices after each post date.

2. We Test The Idea

  • If there is no entry price, we use the next valid market entry after the post.
  • If there is an entry price, it has to actually happen before time runs out.
  • If the target gets hit, that becomes the exit. If not, we use the end of the time window.

3. We Compare It Fairly

We compare the call with the wider market when there is a fair match. If there is not, the benchmark is neutral, so it gives no extra points and removes no points.

Bigger win, bigger score. Cleaner call, better score. More risk or a wrong call, lower score.

Market Performance Matters Most

The asset move carries the main weight. A fair benchmark can add or remove points, but with a smaller effect.

Direction Matters

A correct BUY or SELL adds 10 points. A wrong call loses 25 points and cannot score above F.

Target Matters

Hitting a stated target adds 15 points; missing it removes 15. Calls without a target can be strong, but they cannot receive an A.

Risk Matters

We compare the worst move against the trade with the gain. Excessive drawdown can remove up to 15 points.

Max Move Adds Context

The best closing price reached in the predicted direction can add up to 5 points. A small grey chart marker shows it is not the exit.

Flags Stay Separate

Sponsorship and disclosure flags remain visible, but they do not change the market-accuracy score.

Final Grade

Everything rolls into one score, and that score becomes the final letter grade from A to F.

A: excellent B: strong C: mixed D: weak F: failed

No Clear Call

If the post never clearly says what asset or what direction, we do not force a score.

Too Early

If the time window is still running, the receipt stays pending until enough time has passed.

No Entry

If the post gave a specific entry and price never reached it, we do not pretend the trade happened.

No Market Data

If we cannot get the market data we need, we show that clearly instead of making something up.
